An Israeli airstrike on the Jabalia camp in northern Gaza killed at least 33 Palestinians, including 21 women. Fatalities may rise to 50 due to victims trapped under rubble. Over 85 people were injured, some seriously. The strike is part of Israel’s ongoing offensive against Hamas, following the Oct 7 attack that resulted in around 1,200 Israeli deaths. The Palestinian death toll has reached 42,500.
