Israeli Forces Kill Islamic Jihad Commander In West Bank Strike

Israel’s military announced the killing of Mohammad Abdullah, a top commander of the Palestinian militant group Islamic Jihad, in an airstrike on the Nur Shams refugee camp in Tulkarem. The operation also resulted in the death of another militant and the recovery of weapons. Violence has escalated in the West Bank since the attack by Hamas on Israel in October last year.
