Canada’s Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly warned that the remaining Indian diplomats in Canada are on notice due to escalating tensions over allegations of India’s role in a Sikh separatist’s assassination. After the expulsion of India’s high commissioner and 5 other diplomats, she said that Canada will not accept any violations of the Vienna Convention by diplomatic staff.
