India To Build National Large Solar Telescope To Observe Sun

The Sun is essential for life on Earth, but we understand so little of our nearest star. But, the same Sun unleashes massive solar storms occasionally that take down or burn satellites and electronic equipment on Earth. So, India seeks to set up the National Large Solar Telescope (NLST) in Ladakh to track the Sun. Only the final clearance is needed for this massive project to get off.
