India-China Made Some Progress In Disengagement: Jaishankar

Jaishankar confirmed “some progress” in India-China disengagement, labeling it a “welcome step.” Following troop withdrawals at Demchok and Depsang Plains in Ladakh, Indian Army verification patrolling is underway. Jaishankar noted the move could lead to further steps in mending relations strained by large-scale Chinese deployments along the Line of Actual Control.
