IMD Issues Red Alert For Mumbai: Heavy Rains & Gusty Winds Expected

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for Mumbai, effective until 9 AM on Thursday. Heavy rains, gusty winds, and lightning are expected in various parts of the city. Additionally, districts including Palghar, Nandurbar, Dhule, Jalgaon, Solapur, and Satara in Maharashtra are likely to experience gusty winds ranging from 40 to 50 km per hour.
