Hurricane Helene Claims 33 Lives In The US: Officials Report

The death toll from Hurricane Helene has risen to at least 33 in the southeastern U.S. as torrential flooding and massive rescue operations continue. The storm, which made landfall near Tallahassee, Florida, knocked out power for millions. Though weakened, Helene is still causing historic flooding and flash flood warnings in several states, including Georgia and South Carolina.
