Regional Meteorological Centre has forecasted heavy to very heavy rains, along with thunderstorms, across 12 districts in TN on Sunday. Areas expected to be impacted include Chennai, Chengalpattu, Tiruvallur, Kancheepuram, Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Ramanathapuram, Pudukottai, Nagapattinam, Thoothukudi, Tirunelveli, and Kanyakumari, where intense rainfall & thunderstorms are anticipated throughout the day.
