Heavy Rains Expected In AP As Low Pressure System Strengthens Into Cyclone

The Indian Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rains in Andhra Pradesh from October 14 to 16. A surface circulation forming in the South Bay of Bengal is expected to strengthen into a low-pressure system, which may develop into a typhoon by Oct 13 and could potentially become a severe cyclone, crossing the coast by Oct 17. Also, rain is expected in several districts on Friday.
