Govt Launches ‘Namo Drone Didi’ Scheme To Empower Women SHGs

Govt released the Operational Guidelines for the ‘Namo Drone Didi’ scheme, aimed at providing drones to women self-help groups under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana–National Rural Livelihood Mission (DAY-NRLM). With a budget of ₹1,261 crore, the guidelines establish an Implementation and Monitoring Committee, led by the Additional Secretary of Rural Development, to oversee the scheme’s execution.
