Floodwater continues to flow into the Nagarjuna Sagar Project, built across the river Krishna in the Palnadu district of Andhra Pradesh. At least 8 crest gates have been lifted to release water downstream. The current inflow to the project is 1,08,912 cusecs, while the outflow is 1,05,200 cusecs. Also, the full water level of the project was 590 feet and now it has reached 590 feet.
