Rajasthan Court To Hear Plea On Ajmer Sharif Dargah As Shiv Temple

A Rajasthan court has agreed to hear a petition filed by Hindu Sena chief Vishnu Gupta, claiming the Ajmer Sharif Dargah is a Shiva temple. Gupta demands the dargah be declared “Sankat Mochan Mahadev Temple” and an ASI-led survey to assess its religious significance. The court has issued notices to the Dargah Committee, Ministry of Minority Affairs, and ASI. The next hearing is on December 20.
