India Set To Overtake US In Metro Network: Khattar

Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said India will soon surpass the US to become the world’s 2nd-largest metro rail network after China. Speaking at Kerala’s Urban Conclave, he noted India’s 1,065 km metro span across 24 cities, with 955 km more underway. He also highlighted urbanisation trends, e-mobility plans, road projects, and the new “Super Swachh League.”
