Leh Violence: SC Defers Sonam Wangchuk’s Plea To Oct 14

The Supreme Court has issued notices to the Centre, Ladakh UT, and Jodhpur Central Jail’s SP on a plea by Gitanjali Angmo, wife of activist Sonam Wangchuk, challenging his detention under the NSA. Currently lodged in Jodhpur jail, Wangchuk was granted access to his custody order and medical care. The hearing is set for October 14.
