No Plan To Increase Margins For Fair Price Dealers: Pralhad Joshi

Food Minister Pralhad Joshi stated on Wednesday that the Centre has no immediate plan to increase margins for fair price shop (FPS) dealers under the Targeted Public Distribution System (TPDS). In response to a Lok Sabha query, he explained that while the government sets margin rates, state governments have the flexibility to set higher rates if needed.
