SIT Begins Probe Into Alleged Adulteration Of Tirupati Laddus

Special Investigation Team (SIT) has begun probing allegations that adulterated ghee, possibly mixed with animal fat, was used in the preparation of laddu prasad at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple on Tirumala Hills during the previous YSRCP regime. The investigation, supervised by the CBI, follows claims made by BJP leader Subramanian Swamy and others.
