Sudden floods hit Afghanistan, killing 17 people and injuring 11. In the Kahkan district, a house roof collapsed, killing five family members, including two children. Central, northern, southern, and western regions suffered heavy damage. The floods also killed livestock, adding to the destruction across affected areas.
