SC Stays Reinstatement Of DA Case Against O Panneerselvam

In a relief to expelled AIADMK leader O Panneerselvam, the Supreme Court stayed a Madras High Court order reinstating a disproportionate assets (DA) case against him and his family. A bench of Justices Hrishikesh Roy and S V N Bhatti issued a notice to Tamil Nadu Police and others, seeking a response to Panneerselvam’s plea challenging the decision.
