Pradyut Bordoloi Joins BJP Ahead Of Assam Polls

In a significant political setback for Congress, sitting MP Pradyut Bordoloi quit the party and joined the BJP today, a day after resigning from Congress. He was warmly welcomed by Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma and state BJP president Dilip Saikia. Sarma said Bordoloi’s entry as a senior MP will greatly strengthen the party ahead of the crucial elections.
