L&T Proposes Government Takeover Of Hyderabad Metro Phase I Amid Losses

Larsen & Toubro has requested the government to take over Hyderabad Metro’s Phase I due to financial losses. The 69.2 km network covers three corridors. With Phase II expansion planned, L&T seeks either independent operation of both phases or full government control of Phase I. Meanwhile, Old City corridor work progresses with ongoing demolitions.
