UP Kaushambi Accident: 8 Killed, Ex Gratia Declared

At least 8 people died and several were injured after a pickup truck carrying around 30 devotees crashed into a stationary trailer on NH-2 in Kaushambi, Uttar Pradesh, today. The injured were taken to nearby hospitals, with critical cases shifted to Prayagraj. CM Yogi Adityanath announced ₹2 lakh ex gratia for the deceased’s families and ₹50,000 for the injured.
