‘Indian Airlines Received 994 Hoax Bomb Threat Calls In 2024’

India’s airlines received 994 hoax bomb threats in 2024, Minister of State for Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol reported in Parliament on Wednesday. Between August 2022 and November 13, 2024, 1,143 hoax threats were recorded. The number of hoax calls rose significantly from 27 in late 2022 to 122 in 2023, with 994 reported by November 2024.
