Chennai Weather: IMD Forecasts Thunderstorms, Bay Of Bengal Cyclone Brings Rain

Chennai is preparing for potential impacts from a developing cyclonic system in the Bay of Bengal. India Meteorological Department reports that an upper-air cyclonic circulation has formed near the Sumatra coast & South Andaman Sea. Forecasts suggest the system may evolve into a low-pressure area by Nov 23, intensifying into a depression by Nov 24 and possibly a cyclonic storm by Nov 25.
