Bihar Assembly Phase 1 Concludes With Strong 64.46% Turnout

Bihar’s first phase of Assembly elections recorded a voter turnout of 64.46%, with strong participation from women. Chief Electoral Officer Vinod Gunjyal noted only 1.21% of EVMs needed replacement, lower than in 2020.
