Air Force Proposes Buying 114 Made-In-India Rafale Jets

The Defence Ministry received a proposal from the Indian Air Force to acquire 114 Made-in-India Rafale jets, potentially India’s largest defence deal worth over Rs 2 lakh crore with 60% indigenous content. Built by Dassault and Indian firms, the order would raise IAF Rafales to 176. Safran plans an MRO facility in Hyderabad for M88 engines.
