Delhi May Allow Private EVs To Run As Cabs

Delhi is planning reforms to curb pollution, including allowing privately owned electric vehicles to operate as taxis, shared ride services and airport shuttles. The plan emerged from a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta with auto makers and ride-hailing firms, stressing that reducing vehicles on roads is vital for sustainable pollution control.
