Cabinet Clears Land For GAIL’s Bio-CNG Unit In Bengaluru

The Karnataka Cabinet approved allotting 18 acres at Haralakunte, Bengaluru, to GAIL India for a 300 MT/day bio-CNG plant, expandable to 500 MT/day, on a 25-year permissive use basis. Authorities will survey and hand over the land, while guidelines will curb sale of spurious chemicals and regulate bio-diesel blending for transportation purposes.
