EPFO Records Historic Surge With 19.94 Lakh New Members In July

In July, the EPFO added a record 19.94 lakh net members, the highest since tracking began in April 2018. This includes 10.52 lakh new members, a 2.66% increase from June. Notably, the 18-25 age group saw 8.77 lakh additions, representing 59.41% of all new members. Maharashtra topped the contributions, accounting for 20.21% of the total, reflecting a robust growth in organized employment.
