The central govt has brought good news for coconut farmers. A key decision has been made to increase the minimum support price of desiccated coconut used in milling by ₹420 per quintal and the price of round desiccated coconut by ₹100 per quintal. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced that these prices will be implemented starting in 2025.
