11 Myanmar Nationals Held For Poaching In Andamans

11 Myanmarese poachers were arrested from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands during a three-day ‘Sea Sentinel’ operation from April 4, police said today. The police, with the Indian Coast Guard, chased and intercepted their vessel near Nancowry Island. The accused fled into forests but were later caught. Around 800 kg of illegally harvested sea cucumber was seized.
