The bill to recognize Amaravati as the state capital, approved in the Lok Sabha yesterday, is slated for discussion in the Rajya Sabha today. Similar to yesterday’s session, party members are expected to debate the measure for about an hour. Meanwhile, the oppoition YSRCP walked out, opposing it as against the state’s interests.
