BJP released its second list of 39 candidates for the 2026 Kerala Assembly polls, taking its total to 86 nominees. Voting will be held April 9, counting May 4. The main contest is between LDF and UDF. In 2021, LDF retained power, while BJP-led NDA failed to win any seats, despite securing a notable vote share across constituencies.
