Britain Becomes First European Nation To Join Indo-Pacific Trade Bloc

Britain officially joined the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership on Sunday, becoming the 12th member. This move strengthens trade ties with countries like Japan, Australia, and Canada, marking Britain’s first trade deals with Malaysia and Brunei. The agreement allows Britain to benefit from lower tariffs with eight CPTPP members.
