Kerala To Host Kumbh Mela Inspired By North India’s Style

Juna Akhara is set to host a grand Kumbh Mela in Kerala, modeled on the famous northern celebrations. Scheduled from Jan 18 to Feb 3 along the Bharatapula river in Malappuram, the event revives the historic ‘Mahamakham’ festival from Cheraman Perumal’s era. All Kerala-based ashrams and mutts will actively participate in this spiritual gathering.
