The Kerala Legislative Assembly has introduced the Nativity Card Bill, allowing residents to legally prove they are Keralites. Presented by Revenue Minister K. Rajan under Pinarayi Vijayan’s government, the bill aims to simplify identity verification and welfare access and affirm state nativity. It was referred to a committee for further review.
