Heavy Rain Alert Issued For Tamil Nadu Districts

The IMD has forecast heavy rainfall across over 15 districts in western and southern Tamil Nadu over the next 3 days as the monsoon advances. Northern coastal areas, including Chennai, may face heatwave-like conditions due to high humidity. Rain is likely till June 7, while temperatures in parts of north Tamil Nadu could rise further above 40 degrees Celsius.
