As Christmas and New Year approach, Kashmir is experiencing a surge in tourism, with hotels in popular destinations like Gulmarg, Pahalgam, and Sonamarg fully booked. Officials report that 90% of three-star and five-star accommodations are reserved from December to early January. The region anticipates an influx of over 10,000 tourists, to celebrate the festive season in winter.
