Supreme Court To Review Bail Pleas In Riots Case

The Supreme Court will hear bail pleas of Sharjeel Imam, Umar Khalid, and others in the 2020 Delhi riots conspiracy case. Their petitions challenge the High Court’s rejection, which cited a “premeditated conspiracy.” Earlier hearings were adjourned twice without explanation by a bench of justices, Aravind Kumar and Manmohan.
