Congress Hails Supreme Court Stay On Waqf Act

The Congress welcomed the Supreme Court’s stay on key provisions of the Waqf (Amendment) Act 2025, calling it a victory for justice, equality, and fraternity. Jairam Ramesh said the verdict vindicates those who opposed the law, including dissenting Joint Parliamentary Committee members whose concerns were ignored but are now acknowledged.
