The SC set aside the Jharkhand court proceedings against filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh in a copyright case over “Kahaani 2.” Complaints alleged he used Umesh Prasad Mehta’s script, Sabak, without permission. The bench quashed both the CJM and High Court orders, halting the case, which had been pending since 2018, and clearing Ghosh of current legal proceedings.
