Supreme Court Blames Centre For Tribunal Issues

The Supreme Court slammed tribunals as a “headache” for the government and a “liability” for the judiciary, citing lack of accountability and expertise. CJI Surya Kant urged the Centre to prevent functional crises, reform appointments, and set up a National Tribunals Commission within four months to ensure independence, transparency, and uniformity.
