Union Minister Gadkari Announces Rs 1.44 Lakh Crore Toll Collection

Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari announced that a total of Rs 1.44 lakh crore in toll fees has been collected since December 2000 through toll plazas set up by NHAI. He stated that the electronic toll collection system, along with FASTAG, is being implemented smoothly. He mentioned that a Global Navigation Satellite System-based toll system will soon be introduced at the toll plazas.
