Floods In Punjab Kill 30, Schools Closed Till Sept 7

The Punjab govt has extended the closure of all schools, colleges, universities, and polytechnics till Sept 7 due to severe flooding, Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains announced. Acting on CM Bhagwant Mann’s directive, all government, aided, recognised, and private institutions remain shut. Floods have claimed 30 lives and affected over 3.5 lakh people.
