Hyderabad Riders Can Now Borrow Helmets From Traffic Police

In Hyderabad, the Malkajgiri Traffic Police introduced a “Helmet Bank” allowing two-wheeler riders caught without helmets to borrow one free by providing basic ID. Helmets must be returned within 24 hours. The initiative aims to promote safety over fines, which currently range from Rs 200 to Rs 500 under the Motor Vehicle Act.
