Cremations Halt At Delhi’s Nigambodh Ghat, Flood Water Enters Premises

Delhi’s largest cremation ground, Nigambodh Ghat, has been closed after floodwater from the Yamuna river entered the premises. It is Delhi’s largest and busiest cremation ground and has 42 platforms for cremation. Delhi has been witnessing relentless rain since Monday, which has caused normal life disruption.
