Soldier Killed Over Blanket Request On Train, NHRC Orders Probe

Army jawan Jigar Chaudhary was fatally stabbed by a train attendant after requesting a blanket during his journey from Punjab to Gujarat. The accused, Zubair Memon, has been arrested. The NHRC has ordered an impartial probe, demanding reports from the Railway Board and RPF within two weeks over the alleged human rights violation.
