The IMD predicts thunderstorms in West Bengal starting April 5. This will bring much-needed relief from the current hot and humid conditions caused by dry winds. Temperatures are expected to drop by 3-4 degrees across several districts. North Bengal, including Darjeeling, will see higher storm intensity as moisture enters from the Bay of Bengal through next week.
