Ducati India has launched the Hypermotard 950 SP, priced at ₹19.05 lakh (ex-showroom). This new model, joining the Hypermotard 950 RVE and the recently introduced Hypermotard 698 Mono, features top-tier components and a distinctive color scheme with carbon-fiber accents.
It boasts a 48 mm Ohlins USD fork at the front, increasing wheel travel from 170 mm to 185 mm, a rear Ohlins monoshock with 175 mm travel, and a single-sided swingarm, both fully adjustable.
The bike rides on lightweight 17-inch Marchesini-forged alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tires and has a curb weight of 191 kg without fuel. Its seat height is 890 mm, which is 20 mm higher than the standard model and the 950 RVE, potentially posing a challenge for some riders.
The Hypermotard 950 SP continues with the 937 cc L-Twin Testastretta engine, delivering 114 hp at 9,000 rpm and 96 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm. This engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a bi-directional quickshifter.
While there is no direct rival, the bike competes in the premium performance motorcycle segment, offering a high level of tuning and features.
