Security Forces Defuse Explosive Device Found On J&K Highway

Security forces defused an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) hidden in a bag found on the Handwara-Baramulla highway in the Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir. A joint patrol team of police and army discovered the suspicious bag, leading to the suspension of traffic. A bomb disposal unit safely defused the IED. An investigation is underway to identify those responsible for placing the device.
