Delhi High Court Bans Firecracker Sales For Diwali Amid Pollution Crisis

The Delhi High Court clarified that the sale of firecrackers for the Diwali festival will not be permitted. The court concluded that such decisions are not feasible given the severe pollution levels in Delhi. In response, all traders holding permanent licenses for the storage and sale of firecrackers have united to form the ‘Delhi Fire Works Shop Keepers Association.’
